48 saltine crackers 6 egg whites (fresh or powdered) 2 c. sugar 2 c. pecans, chopped 12 oz. whipped topping coconut (optional)
1. Crumble saltines. 2. Beat egg whites until stiff. 3. Grease bottom and sides of 11x13-inch baking dish. 4. Combine first 4 ingredients; bake at 350º for 20 to 25 minutes. 5. When cool, place a layer of whipped topping over crust layer. 6. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts if desired.
