Mix together thoroughly:
1 cup butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs

sift together:
2-3/4 cups flour
2tsps. cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of a walnut. Make a mixture of 2 Tablespoons cinnamon and 2 Tablespoons sugar.Roll cookies in the cinnamon mixture and place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 until lightly browned, for 10 to 15 minutes. but slightly soft (cookie will crinkle on top)
