3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vinegar
6 Tbsp. cold water

Mix flour and shortening (kneed together with hands). Mix egg, vinegar and water together. Mix both together. Roll out into pie plates. The more moist your pie crust is the easier it is to handle. Makes 2 complete 9 inch pies.

Fill pie with your favorite filling, cook on about 350 for about 45 minutes or until the top is brown. Cut and serve with ice cream on top. For one crust pie shells, turn the pie plate upside down and form the dough over the plate. Prick the shell with a fork so that the dough don't puff up.
