1/2 c sugar
1 c molasses
1/2 c butter or other shortening
1 tsp salt
2/3 c cold water
2 tsp soda
1 tbsp ginger
sufficient flour to roll out.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, molasses, and butter. Add salt, soda and ginger to some flour. Add flour alternating with the water to make a dough. Roll out and cut. Bake.
