2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
5 Tbsp. oil
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
4 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
6 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together sugar, buttermilk, eggs, oil.
Add vanilla, nutmeg, salt, baking powder, soda and gradually add the flour. Roll thin, (not too thin) about like sugar cookies. Fry in hot oil. Sugar.
If you have time I would put the dough in the frig and chill for a while before rolling out to cut.

I usually double the recipe. It makes 10 dozen when doubled.
