2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
4 tsbp. cocoa
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup milk w/ 2 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. vanilla

Topping:
1 tub cool whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:

Mix ingredients and pour into 2 greased baking rounds. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
