2 c. uncooked rice
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 (2-3 lb.) chicken, cut up
Pepper to taste
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can gumbo soup
3 c. water
Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Spread rice evenly in bottom of well-greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with 1/4 of onion soup mix. Place chicken pieces on rice, sprinkle with remaining onion soup mix and pepper. Combine soup and water; blend well. Pour over chicken. Dot with butter. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 325 for 2 hours.
