1 c butter
2 c sugar
3 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 c sour milk
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 square chocolate
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp hot water
1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Mix flour, baking powder and soda. Beat into creamed mixture. Beat in sour milk. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add vanilla. Melt 1 square chocolate and add 1 tsp sugar, 2 tsp hot water, and 1/4 t baking soda. Add chocolate mixture to one quarter of the white batter and mix well. Alternate chocolate and white batter in 2 9" cake pans. Bake 30-35 min.
