Ingredients:  
1/2 lb butter
1 lb 4X sugar
4 eggs
3 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Sift 4X sugar and add small amount at a time to butter. Cream well. Add one egg at a time and beat after each egg. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add alternating with milk. Add vanilla last. Bake 1 hour at 350 F.
