1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (or ground turkey)
1/2 cup chopped onion
28oz can of whole tomatoes (chopped)
14oz can kidney beans
16oz can whole kernel corn
8oz can tomato sauce
garlic powder to taste
1 Tbsp sugar
1 package taco seasoning
2 cups water
salt & pepper to taste
(a little tabasco, if you like)

Topping:
Tortilla Chips
Grated Cheddar Cheese (or Mexican blend)
Sour Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef & onion, drain fat.
Add all remaining ingredients(except toppings) Including the juices in each can.
Simmer for 15 minutes

Serve with toppings in each bowl: crunched tortilla chips, cheese, and a dab of sour cream.

I always double this recipe. This is fast & filling. We have served this for many big get togethers from feeding a soccer or basketball team & for quick meals on a cold winter night. The name Taco Soup is catching.
