2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
4 rounded Tbls. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup cold water
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder. Add water, mayonnaise, and vanilla. Stir thoroughly, pour into greased 9" cake pans or 9X12 sheet cake pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes for pans in 350 degree oven. Cool on cake rack. Frost with your favorite powder sugar or cream cheese frosting.

One thing I like to do is spread a thin layer of peanut butter on top of the layers prior to frosting. Yum!
