3 egg whites at room temperature
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
6 tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add cream of tartar and continue to beat. Add sugar one tbsp at a time and beat until stiff peaks for when beaters are raised from the mixture.

Use a spatula to spread on top of pie mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until brown on the top.
