4 to 5 slices bacon
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
2 (17 oz.) cans tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
3 T. catsup
2 lb. green shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 T. sugar
hot cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown bacon in iron skillet. Remove bacon and set aside. Saute onion and bell pepper in bacon drippings. Add tomatoes, salt, Worcestershire and catsup. Crumble bacon and return to skillet. Simmer sauce uncovered for 45 minutes to 1 hours or until thickened. Add shrimp a few at a time. Add sugar. Simmer about 10 minutes after last shrimp has been added. Serve over rice.
