6 boneless skinless chicken breasts cooked and cubed
2 T vegetable oil
1 c chopped turkey ham/ smoked sausage
1 large onion
3 celery ribs chopped
1 green bell pepper chopped
3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup flour
6 c chicken broth
1 16oz can chopped tomatoes
1 T worcestershire sauce
1 t basil
1 t thyme
2 bay leaves
1 10 oz pkg frozen cut okra
salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot, heat oil. Add ham/sausage, onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Cook till onion is soft. Reduce heat. Sprinkle flour and stir until flour coats mixture. Continue to stir til flour turns light brown. Add broth and tomatoes. Simmer over medium heat. Stir in worcestershire sauce, basil, thyme, chicken and bay leaves. Cover and simmer 45 mins. Add okra and continue to simmer about 20 mins. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve over rice
