3 c. sweet potatoes (canned or fresh)
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. orange juice
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
May add 1/2 c. raisins or nuts

Mash potatoes thoroughly. Melt butter and mix with potatoes. Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes. Remove from oven; stir. Place marshmallows on top and return to oven to brown.
