Ingredients:  
3-3 1/2 loaves bread, break into pieces
6-8 apples, chopped
6 eggs, beaten & salted
4 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 stick oleo, melted
1 c. milk
1 small onion, chopped
1 heaping tbsp. Crisco
2 lbs. (approx.) chicken hearts
salt to taste
sage to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Salt bread periodically while breaking bread into pieces. Toss pieces in bowls occasionally to take out moisture evenly.
Salt meat & fry in Crisco. Add onion, celery & sage. Fry until 1/2 done. Melt oleo & add milk; heat until warm. Mix apples, eggs & fried mixture into bread. Add oleo & milk mixture. After mixtures are blended, salt to taste. May need to add oleo & milk until bread mixture seems moist.
