1 cup Butter or Shortening, 1 1/2 cup Sugar, 2 Eggs, 2 3/4 cups Flour, 2 tsp. Cream of Tarter, 1 tsp. Baking Soda, 1/4 tsp. Salt, 2 T. Sugar, 2 tsp. Cinnamon

Mix shortening , sugar and eggs real good. Blend together dry ingredients except the 2 T. sugar and the 2 tsp. cinnamon. Add to cream mixture. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Flatten with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped in the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake in a 400 oven for about 8 minutes.
