1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup shortening (butter)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
36 marshmallows, cut in half


2 cups powdered sugar
5 tsp. cocoa
dash salt
3 TB butter, soft
4 TB cream
1 tsp. vanilla

1st Step: Mix all ingredients except marshmallows in bowl. Drop by teaspoon on sheet. Put in oven and bake for 8 minutes on 350. 2nd Step: Put a marshmallow on top of each. Put back in oven for two minutes. 3rd Step: Cool. Cover with icing.
