4 cups dry Spaghetti Noodles, 3 T. Butter, 3 T Olive Oil, 4 cloves chopped Garlic, 1 whole chopped Yellow Onion, 3 cups chopped fresh, frozen or canned Clams, 1 tsp. Oregano, 1/3 cup white Wine, 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated, 3 T. Parsley, 4 cups Whip Cream, Salt and Pepper

Heat butter and olive oil in skillet. Add the onions and garlic. Add the clams and the juice with it. (If you don't have any clam juice use 1 cup water, and the wine.. Stir in oregano, salt and pepper. Cook for about 15 minutes. turn to low and stir in whip cream. Heat through, add the parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the pasta, drain sprinkle with 2 T. olive oil. Serve with Clam Sauce.

I sometimes make marinara sauce with the clam sauce and serve the pasta with marinara on one side and clam sauce on the other. I used to order this every time we went to the spaghetti factory!
