6-7 apples, peeled and diced small
2 cups sugar

Mix together:
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1 cup veg. oil

Sift together:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
Also needed:
1 cup nuts


4 TB oleo
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
few nuts

Mix with egg mixture. Add apples and nuts. Bake in 9x13" greased pan at 350 for 50 min.

Mix together and spread on hot cake. Put under broiler until it starts to bubble-about 3 min. Watch carefully. It will burn.

*This is the topping I used:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
boiling water
Mix together. Adjust amounts of powdered sugar and water until desired consistency is reached.
