1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c. ) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water; bring just to a boil. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and vanilla, stir until chips melt and mixture is smooth. Transfer to large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread into greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 325 for 50 minutes. Cool; cut into 2" squares.
