3 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs (yellows only)
4 cups of sifted flour
Green and/or red Cross and Blackwell jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, and eggs together. Add flour after the mixture becomes creamy. Roll in small round balls, punch a hole in the middle of each ball with your middle finger, and fill the hole with jelly.

Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes “until done”. Don’t let the cookies turn brown.
