15 oz. box bran flakes 1 c. melted butter 3 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 qt. buttermilk 5 c. flour 5 tsp. soda 2 tsp. salt
Mix cereal, flour, soda, sugar and salt in a very large bowl. Add beaten eggs, shortening and buttermilk and mix well. Store in refrigerator and bake the amount you need at 350º for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Mixture keeps in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks.
