1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 eggs
1 quart whole milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 sm can carnation milk
nutmeg

Beat eggs with electric mixer
Heat milk to scalding
Add sugar, eggs and cornstarch to milk - stir constantly
Add vanilla, carnation milk and nutmeg

Mama kept many sick people alive with this boiled custard. They were not able to chew or swallow easily but this just slides down and is so rich!
