1 1/2 c milk
2 tbsp cornstarch
dash salt
1/2 c crisco
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornstarch and milk in saucepan. Cook over low heat till thickened; cool.

Cream butter, crisco, sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat for a full 5 minutes. Combine cooled mixture with sugar mixture, beating on high speed of mixer till frosting is fluffy like whipped cream.
