"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich
This recipe for Alana's Hot Dog on a Stick, by Alana Poppenhagen, is from Cooking From The Heart,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Your average microwavable corn dog (example: Foster Farms or State Fair Corn Dogs)
Remove corn dog from any wrapper or packaging. Wrap in a paper towel. Heat on medium-high for 1 min. to 1 min. 30 sec. When cooked, carefully peel the outer cornmeal off of the hot dog. Wala! Hot dog on a stick! Serve on a plate with ketchup only (That's the way Alana likes it!) Mustard optional
