1 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, 3/4 cup Sugar, 1 cup Shortening, 3 Eggs, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 2 1/4 cups Flour, 1 tsp. Salt, 1 tsp. baking Soda, 1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon, 3/4 cup Milk, 4 cups Quick Oats, 1 pkg. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Cream together sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture along with the milk. Stir in Oats and chocolate pieces. Spread into a 15 X 10 pan that has been greased. Bake at 350º for about 30 minutes.
