1/2 cup Butter or Margarine, 1/2 cup Shortening, 1 cup Sugar, 1 cup Brown Sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 2 cups Flour, 1 tsp. Baking Soda, 1 tsp. Salt, 1 tsp. Cinnamon, 1 tsp. Nutmeg, 2 cup Quick Oats, 8 oz. Semi sweet Chocolate Chips, 1 cup Nuts
Cream together butter and shortening. Add sugars, Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix together dry ingredients. Mix into wet mixture, stir in oats and chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º about 10 minutes.
