1/2 c butter
3/4 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/3 c cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

GLAZE
3 T butter
2 c powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
2-3 T milk
2-4 drops food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine flour, cocoa,baking powder, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture, blending well. Chill dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to roll.
Heat oven to 325
Roll small portion of dough between 2 pieces of wax paper to 1/4" thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
Bake 5-7 minutes or until no indentation remains when touched lightly. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Frost with glaze.
