1 package sliced, fresh mushrooms
2 tsp. paprika

A few drops of liquid crab boil to taste
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 lb. turkey sausage

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except shrimp, in a greased Dutch oven. Bake, covered, for one hour, thirty minutes at 350 degrees. Check the rice towards the end. Once it is done, add shrimp and stir. Put back in oven for 5 minutes to cook shrimp.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I usually double this recipe by doubling all ingredients except the shrimp and mushrooms. If doubling, lengthen cooking time to 2 hours or just over. This is a salty dish, so don't be tempted to add any while cooking. If you like salt, wait and add it at the end after tasting. Sour cream is great for toning down the spiciness.
