1 German Chocolate cake mix 1 pkg. Kraft caramels 1 stick oleo 1/3 c. milk 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. nuts
Mix cake according to directions on box. Pour half of cake batter into 9x13" pan. Bake at 350º for 20 min. Put chips and nuts on cake. Melt and mix caramels, oleo and milk. Pour over cake. Pour the rest of the cake batter over the top. Bake 20 min. at 250º - then another 10 min. at 350º. Great topped with cool whip or ice cream.
