lettuce
4-8 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces
1-2 small green onions, cut up
3 T. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Tear lettuce to fill med.-lg. bowl. Fry bacon and onion until bacon is done. Pour off some grease but not all. Add sugar, vinegar and water; simmer until hot. Remove from stove, pour over lettuce, toss and serve immediately.
