3/4 c. pancake mix,
3/4 c. beer,
1 egg,
1/4 c. flour,
1/2 tsp. baking powder,
1/2 tsp. salt,
2 tsp. dry onion,
vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash fillets in vinegar to remove the "fishy" taste. Rinse with water. The fillet will turn white and flakey. Mix the ingredients (except vinegar) and dredge fillets through. Deep fry in oil.

I've just used pancake mix and beer. It will get the job done. It's good but not as good the whole recipe.
