2 - 6 handfuls of fresh green beans 1 - 2 T. soy sauce 2 T. onion flakes
Wash beans and pinch off ends. Leave beans whole. Pour only enough water in saucepan to steam the beans. Stir soy sauce and onion flakes into the water. Place beans in saucepan, cover. Bring to a boil; then reduce to simmer. Cook 15 -20 min., or until tender. (Or steam for shorter time if crunchy beans are preferred.)
