2 c. fresh bread crumbs 1 c. minced walnuts or pecans (I use pecans) 1 c. grated American cheese 1 c. milk 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika, if desired (I omit) 1 T. finely chopped onion 1 T. minced parsley 1 beaten egg
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine all ingredients well. Shape in a loaf by placing them in a bread pan. Bake the loaf about 25 min. Serve with tomato, mushroom or onion sauce. I use mushroom soup and fresh mushroom slices.
