6 1/2 c. turkey or chicken broth
1 c. water
1 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. packaged dried small shell macaroni
1 16-oz. package frozen mixed vegetables
2 c. chopped turkey (chicken may be used)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine broth, water, thyme, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Stir in vegetables; return to boiling. Boil gently, uncovered, for 5 - 7 minutes or until vegetables and pasta are tender. Stir in turkey or chicken. Heat through.

You can use left-over turkey and broth from roast turkey drippings for this recipe, or for a quick chicken soup stir in 1 10-oz. can of white meat chicken and use canned chicken broth.
