3 lbs. (2 strips) lean spareribs
Salt and Pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (15 oz.) can Hunts Tomato Sauce
1 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 c. vinegar
1-2 cans (2 1/2 cups) pineapple tidbits
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. dry mustard

Cut after every third rib, about halfway through the strip. Salt and Pepper. Place in shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350º in the oven for 1 1/4 hours. Pour off excess fat. While ribs are roasting, mix remaining ingredients and let stand. Pour over ribs after 1 1/4 hours baking. Bake 45-50 min. longer, basting frequently.
