1 1/4 c. Plain flour
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Soda
3/4 tsp. Baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 egg
2 tsp. Powdered sugar
Milk (until desired consistency)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients.

Add egg and milk, beating until smooth.

Heat 1 inch of oil to 375 (electric skillet)

Cover bottom of funnel with finger, pour 1/4 cup batter in funnel.

Release finger in center of skillet, making a circle moving away from center.

Fry 2 minutes, drain.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
