Ingredients:
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 Tbsp. Karo syrup
c brown sugar

8 cups Crispix cereal
Pretzels and peanuts (optional)
Melted milk chocolate (candy bar or chips)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the above mixture for 2 minutes and pour over 8 cups Crispix cereal. Add pretzels or peanuts if desired. Spread on greased cookie sheet and drizzle on melted milk chocolate (candy bars or milk chocolate chips). To speed up the setting of the chocolate, put in the refrigerator or freezer for hour and then break apart and put in air tight container.

NOTE: I have made this ahead and stored in freezer. It works fine and is nice to pull a bag out for a fun treat. Also, I almost always double this recipe and a family size box of Crispix (around 18 oz) is the exact measure of cereal. When doubling use two cookie sheets.
