3 c. meat cubes
c. onions, diced
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 Tbsp. beef base
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
c. gravy flour
2 Tbsp. sherry
1/2 cup water

1 c. sour cream
4 c. egg noodles, uncooked.

CROCK POT: Place all ingredients except sour cream and noodles in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shortly before serving, cook egg noodles. Ten minutes before serving, gently stir sour cream into the stroganoff. Cover and cook until sauce is hot.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place all ingredients except sour cream and noodles into a 3-4 qt. Dutch oven or baking dish with a tight fitting lid. Bake for 2 hours or until fork tender. Remove from oven, fold in sour cream and return to oven for 10 minutes or until sauce is hot.
