c. butter
2 large carrots, shredded
3-4 stalks celery, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 c. flour
8 c. chicken broth
3 c. chicken or turkey
1 c. wild rice, cooked according to pkg directions, yields approx. 2 c. cooked rice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Melt butter in stock pot. Add onion, celery, carrots until soft. Add flour until it makes a ball. Then add 2 cups broth at a time until all is added & thickened. Add cooked chicken, cooked rice, and seasonings to taste.
