1 ½ c. butter – softened
1 ¼ c. sugar
1 ¼ c. brown sugar
1 T vanilla
2 eggs
4 ½ c. flour
2 t baking soda
1 t salt
4 c. semisweet chocolate chips (I prefer mini M&Ms)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs. Stir in flour, soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or ‘til light golden brown.
Makes about 3 ½ dozen.

These are awesome chocolate chip cookies. Hearty and on the salty side. Great cookies! The dough is really stiff, so I'd probably only make these if you have a Kitchenaid stand mixer. I highly recommend the mini M&Ms over regular chocolate chips.
