3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening and 1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 T milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together shortening and butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, egg and milk; best thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Chill dough 1 hour
Divide in 4th and roll out each portion 1/8 inches thick. cut with a cookie cutter. Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
