1 1/2 lbs boneless pork or beef cut into cubes
1/2 cup beef consomme
1 12 oz can tomatoes
1 T lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 7 oz can green chilies, cut into strips
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp cloves
1/3 cup chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in small amount of oil. Drain. Add tomatoes, cut in large pieces, and remaining ingredients. Cook for 6 to 8 hours.

This is the green chili recipe from the El Torrito Restaurant, a Mexican restaurant owned by Walt and Bobby in the 1970s. Keenan was a cook and Debbie was a waitress, a real family venture!!!!
