1/2 cup shortening or bacon grease 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup Williams Chili Seasoning 1 8 oz can tomato sauce cumin and red peppers to taste 4 to 5 cups water 1 tsp garlic salt 1 tsp minced onion 3 to 4 T beef Consomme
Melt shortening in heavy saucepan. Add flour and stir till blended, add chili powder. Add water and stir quickly with wire whisk. Add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. simmer at least 15 minutes.
