6 pork chops
6 T. sugar
6 T. margarine
1 T. soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the chops in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Place 1 T. of brown sugar on top of every chop. Place 1 T. of margarine on top of the brown sugar. Sprinkle chops with soy sauce.
Cover pan with foil and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until browned.

I make extra "sauce" and use butter (rather than margarine).
I melt the butter, then add the brown sugar and soy sauce to it. Pour over the chops, which I sprinkle first with pepper and a tiny bit of salt. I have added a bit of orange juice, too. It's good over brown rice with the pork chops.
