4 c sliced pie apples 1/4 orange juice 1 c sugar 3/4 c flour 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/2 c butter
Mound apples in buttered 9" pie plate. Sprinkle with orange juice. For topping: Combine sugar, flour, spices & dash of salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Scatter over apples. Bake at 375º for 45 minutes or until apples are done and topping is crisp. Serve warm with milk or cream.
