1 c butter or margarine
2 c flour (don't sift)
1/2 c unsifted confectioners sugar
4 eggs
2 c sugar
9 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into 2 cups flour mixed with confectioners sugar until crumbly. Press into 9" x 12" pan. Bake at 350 20-25 min, till lightly browned. Meanwhile, beat eggs. Gradually add sugar until mixture is fluffy. Blend in lemon juice, 1/4 c flour & baking powder. Pour over hot baked crust. Bake at 350 20-25 min. Sprinkle while warm with confectioners sugar and cut when cool.
