1 package celery
1 lb. hamburger
3 T. butter
2 lbs. onions
2 lbs. sprouts
3 T soy sauce
4 T cornstarch
2 C & 1 C water
1 T molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Fry hamburger, butter, salt & pepper. Add diced onions & diced celery, and 2 C. water- cook on med heat for 1/2 hour covered. Then add sprouts & molasses, cook 1/2 hour. Mix together 1 C water, cornstarch, & soy sauce. Pour in pan & stir uncovered until thick. Serve on buttered toast or rice, top with Chinese crunchy noodles.

This is one of Gramps favorites. I remember my mother making this when a kid and I dreaded it. As an adult, it is one of my favorite meals- delicious!
