1 1/2 quarts water- 6 Cups
1 ounce dry yeast
5 lbs White Lily Self-raising flour
8 oz (1 Cup) sugar
3/4 pound (2 Cups) shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in1 cup warm water stir flour and sugar together, cut in shortening add yeast water and 5 cups water, stir until well blended. Cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to use. 2 hours before baking remove from fredge, roll out dough and make in to balls, place balls on a baking pan, cover and let proof in a warm place until double in size, bake in preheated oven at 450 for 15 min.

to bake immediately substitute warm water for cold and do not refrigerate, let rise 30 min.
